Ingredients (serves 2):

  • 2 sour red apples
  • 2 tablespoons chopped almonds
  • 1 tablespoon icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 100 g soft butter
  • A little lemon juice

Baked apple

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Baking time: 35 minutes

Preparation:

  1. Wash 2 sour red apples and remove the cores. Sprinkle the inside of the apples with a little lemon juice.
  2. Mix the butter, icing sugar, cinnamon and chopped almonds together and fill the apples with the mixture.
  3. Place the apples in an ovenproof dish. Bake in the oven at about 200 °C for about 35 minutes. After baking for about 20 minutes, cover with aluminium foil and continue to bake.
  4. Douse the baked apples with melted butter and arrange on the La Boule serving plate.
