A small bathroom is not a good enough reason to not have a modern bath. Corner baths from Villeroy & Boch combine a low space requirement with high bathing comfort and a modern design. Whether you are looking for a corner bath with a shower or with a hot tub: we have the corner baths – you have the agony of choice!
Corner baths are significantly more compact than classic baths, yet still spacious enough for enjoying a long soak. A corner bath measuring 140 x 140 cm is considerably shorter (and slightly wider) than a classic rectangular or oval bath. Yet it can snuggle elegantly into the corner of the bathroom, blending seamlessly into even the smallest of bathrooms.
You can choose your corner bath from the Loop & Friends, Squaro or Subway collections. The Subway corner bath is the perfect space-saving solution, with its side measuring only 130 x 130 cm, whereas the corner baths from the Squaro collection measuring up to 145 x 145 cm are somewhat more spacious. And the Loop & Friends corner baths provide an additional sitting or storage area in the corner. Incidentally, all corner baths have their outlet in the middle, which allows you to sit and enjoy a bath with a loved one.
We only use selected raw materials to ensure that our corner baths meet your and our high standards on shape, functionality and durability: acrylic and the exclusive Quaryl® material, both with excellent material properties.
Villeroy & Boch only uses panels made from cast sanitary acrylic (PMMA) to produce corner baths. The coloured-through and non-porous material is very resistant to damage, such as from fallen objects, and has an insulating effect, which lets it quickly adjust to the temperature of the bath water while keeping it hot for longer. Acrylic corner baths also know how to impress with their wonderful shine and clear design.
Quaryl® is an innovative material developed by Villeroy & Boch that is pleasant to the eyes and touch: the material feels amazingly soft and warm, insulates well and is extremely robust and resistant. All this is possible because of the combination of 60% homogeneous quartz crystals, which have been finely ground and mixed together with sanitary acrylic. Liquid Quaryl® is then shaped into the desired form by means of a highly precise casting process. This allows for delicate designs: precise edges, small radii and thin walls. Yet Quaryl® baths are very durable and robust: they can even withstand up to 1000 kg.
Do you want to do more in your bath than just take a relaxing soak? Then you should opt for a corner bath with a hot tub function and enjoy how the air jets, water jets or a combination of both systems embrace and massage you. You can choose between the Entry and Comfort systems to relax tense muscles and enhance your bathing experience.
Invisible Jets are innovative floor and side jets, which are practically invisible when inactive, blending into the bath rim and come out only when activated. The massage jets are available in the colours Gold, Chrome and White. You decide whether you want to add a splash of colour to your corner bath or if the Invisible Jets should discreetly blend into the tub to create an overall harmonious look. The flush alignment not only looks very elegant, but it also makes it easier to clean the jets and bath surface. And you can set the direction of the water flow however you want, for the perfect wellness experience with every bath you take. Invisible Jets are available for corner baths made from Quaryl®.
We developed the Whisper jet system to be able to offer you a more pleasant massage experience. The jets have been redesigned to minimise noise without weakening the massage effect. Moreover, the jets have been fitted partially flush with the bath to provide maximum comfort and to make it easier to clean the bath. The optional Whisper jet system is available for practically any bath made from acrylic or Quaryl®.
Acrylic and Quaryl® are not only pleasant to the touch, they are also easy to clean and maintain. As neither material has any pores or seams, dirt can simply be removed with a sponge and a liquid plastic cleaner. You can remove limescale with vinegar or a limescale cleaner. Alkaline cleaners, such as washing-up liquid, help with substances that leave greasy marks.
We recommend using a good special cleaner to regularly clean your corner bath with a hot tub. Visible components such as jets or cover caps can be removed before cleaning. You will find more detailed information in the user guide.
You can use mild bathroom cleaners to clean the surface of the bath. Avoid abrasive cleaners, rough sponges or cloths so as not to damage the surface. You can remove stubborn stains with a non-scratch sponge and liquid cleaner diluted with plenty of water. Test the cleaning product in an inconspicuous place before use to make sure it will not damage your bath or hot tub parts.
